7th
International Symposium on Bee Products, held in conjunction
with the
Annual Meeting of
the International Honey Commission (IHC). This prestigious
event will take place from
March
26 to 29, 2026, at the stunning
Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, located on the
Adriatic coast in the historic town of
Poreč, Croatia.
As in previous years,
the Symposium serves as a vital platform for international experts,
researchers, professionals, and stakeholders in the field of apiculture and bee
products to come together and share their latest findings, innovations, and
ideas. As global interest in natural health products and sustainable apiculture
continues to rise, the need for collaboration and evidence-based research becomes
ever more essential.
The scientific program
will cover a comprehensive range of topics related to honey, propolis, bee
pollen, beeswax, royal jelly, and bee venom. Participants will
have the opportunity to attend keynote lectures, scientific sessions
(oral and poster
presentations), and interactive workshops, all designed to
promote in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange. Core themes will include chemical characterization,
botanical and geographical origin, authentication and
traceability / quality and safety, bioactivity and
health benefits of bee products, as well as novel analytical approaches.
Additionally, sessions will address regulatory developments, consumer trends,
and sustainability
in bee products production.
A central feature of
the event will be the Annual
Meeting of the International Honey Commission (IHC). This
gathering of global experts plays a critical role in setting and revising
international standards for bee product quality, analytical methods, and labelling.
Attendees are encouraged to actively participate in shaping the future
guidelines, and cooperative research and strategies.
